Dakir finishes 2007 as the top winning and top producing Sloughi in the U.S. with One All Breed Best in Show, Two Bests in Specialty Show, One Reserve Best in Show, 10 Group Firsts, Multiple Group Placements, 18 Bests of Breed. He is the #1 Sloughi in ARBA and the #1 Sloughi in UKC. From his first litter, born in January, Dakir has already 3 champion get.

We have been fortunate to have our first two picks from this outstanding litter. Dakir, an exceptionally elegant black-mantled sand dog, is named after his famous relative, Damir el Tahiri, on whom he is linebred. Damir, owned by Moreau-Sipiere International Sloughis, proved to be one of the most prepotent sires in American Sloughi history, siring multiple champion and Best In Show winners.

Dakir is the sire of the Ocerico A litter (Ocerico Alinghi, JC, CH Ocerico Anisette, Ocerico A'Onyx at Catalyst, Ocerico Arianna, BISS CH Ocerico Arion and Za'AlBasha Nuri al Baida). Three puppies from this litter finished their UKC Champions, by the time they were 7 months old.
